County Treasurer Ordered to Pay for Hounds

Judge J. J. Semmes in city court granted County Road Superintendent H. Jackson a mandamus against County Treasurer George E. Stone to pay 200 for county blood hounds to be used at the convict camp. A bill was paid by the treasurer Thursday afternoon.

Imiss Harvell Hurt In Automobile Accident

Lenore Harvell was struck near Government and Chai streets at about 9 30 pm Wednesday by a car driven by Glenn Ainspaugh. Harvell was taken to Inge Building hospital. Ainspaugh was arrested on a reckless driving charge. He said he could not avoid the two pedestrians when they began to cross.
