Large Mobile plant site prep under way at Murnan yard
A large force is mobilized at the Murnan Plant site with a sand digger dredging in front of the proposed marine ways on the east bank of Mobile River. The Alabama Transportation Company will build the ways capable of handling ships up to 3000 tons with the steamer McClelland, a tugboat and a launch aiding the work arriving from Slidell Louisiana. Mr Murnan of Memphis Tennessee expects to erect the plant and conduct wooden vessel building and repair work on site.

Four Sections Of Dry Dock Floated After Storm
