Haywood McCormick a white man accused of having his throat cut by Marion B. Thielgard was unable to appear in recorder's court Tuesday. The case was continued to October 6. McCormick was moved from the city prison to the city hospital Monday afternoon. Both men were said to be very drunk when taken into custody by police.
