Washington reports nearly 200 million dollars in pension appropriations will be needed for veterans in the upcoming short session. The Sherwood act raised many pensions and a roughly 20 million deficit may be added to the regular bill or another measure. News from Wetumpka reports Fuller, a young white man, shot and killed last night at a shooting gallery by Ida Pruett, a negro woman and ex convict, who is under arrest. The shot entered his neck and shattered the Adam’s apple. Fuller died after about thirty minutes. The killer claims the death was accidental. Fuller's full name is not yet learned.
Louisville police investigate the stabbing death of 23 year old painter Robert B Fauntleroy found unconscious with multiple wounds on a city street. J C Glaub president of the local painters union is held amid conflicting statements about a quarrel with a woman. Fauntleroy hailed from Noapa and lived with his mother in Pratt City, Alabama.
New York November 29 The fate of Al bey T Patrick pardoned by Governor Dix over the Rice fortune hinges on a conference with Patrick and attorney Judge William M Olcott. Olcott defends Dix and notes previous pardons followed opinions by Justice Goff and ex-District Attorney Jerome. Patrick may pursue the Rice will after discussions.
