Daniel McGaughey of Mobile marks fifty years as a member of the Odd Fellows with initiation in 1863 and leadership as grand master in 1876. A longtime printer who retired over a decade ago, he is also a living charter member of Alabama’s Knights of Pythias grand lodge and the oldest Pythian in Mobile, born June 16, 1834 and a city resident for over sixty years.
