Provisional President Huerta issues official statement citing General Carranza’s refusal to tolerate foreign interference in Mexico's internal affairs. Huerta’s cabinet is reportedly behind him. A cabinet meeting is planned at the palace tonight with no details on topics.

The Seeberg Steamship Line declares a Mobile to Panama service via Samara sailing November 18 and December 18, targeting competition with United Fruit. A Santo Domingo Haiti Caribbean route begins December 17 with Honoreya calling at Santo Domingo and Haiti ports.
