George H. Heakes a well known society man was detained in chancery court until he gave bond of three thousand dollars to insure he stays within jurisdiction. His divorce from Mrs Willie Heakes was granted in 1909 with alimony of seventy five dollars monthly. Mrs Heakes says he has paid only one thousand eight hundred twenty one dollars and fifty cents to date and since January 1912 has failed to meet payments seeking bond to secure future payments.
