Four men held after box car burglary spree in early October
Fireman Charles Summers faced a burglary charge after stealing watches traps files knives and shells from a box car of the New Orleans Mobile and Chicago line on October 27. John McGinnis alias Bradshaw Tony Barnes and Frank Naylor were arrested for selling the loot. McGinnis aided police by naming the thief as Summers. Summers admitted guilt and the case moves to the recorder's court Monday. Mrs McGinnis died Sunday night as her husband was released on bond to be at her bedside.
