Gulls Fall to Lookouts in Mobile Rodent Series

In a Monday afternoon game at Monroe Park, the Mobile Gulls lost to the Chattanooga Lookouts as Southpaw Jim Allen shut down the Gulls with his curve. Razor and Elberfeld’s Lookouts benefited from two early runs aided by errors and a misplayed ball, while Gulls batters could not solve Allen’s delivery. Hal Reilly and Jake Pittser contributed defensively but failed to spark a comeback as Mobile left runners stranded and tallied a lone fifth inning run.
