Death of Boice farmer Robert Beard by suicide
Robert Beard, a well to do farmer and bachelor from Boice Mississippi, died of a self inflicted gunshot wound at sunset after being despondent for days. He was visiting the Beard family for six weeks and had shown strange behavior. Dr Walter P Gray arrived too late. Beard is survived by three foster sisters and two foster brothers, and will be buried in the family plot.
