Workmen rush to finish the large amphitheatre at the eastern front of the capitol. The main stand will seat the president during the inaugural ceremonies on Tuesday. The reviewing stand lies at the center of the long White House side avenue where the inauguration spot is marked.

Dr. Owen R. Lovejoy of the National Child Labor committee arrived in Jacksonville Pa to organize the national conference set for March 13 to 16.
