Adolph Dietrich a 63 year old German landscape gardener at the Alabama state capitol shot himself in his room at 5 North Bainbridge street after warning friends he would kill himself. He left a will naming officials as executors and requested burial on Friday with a capitol bugle salute. He had long suffered head pains and feared insanity. He was well known and respected in Montgomery.
