Special to The Item Pensacola July 28 The Barge Bernhard No 1 owned by Alabama New Orleans Transportation Co moved 2500 to 3000 barrels of naval stores from Pensacola to Bagdad and back loading at Bagdad in three hours before resuming voyage to Pensacola. The barge used two mule teams to transfer about 1000 barrels to Goulding yards and towards Pensacola while Louisville and Nashville line dock space remained unavailable. It is expected to reach New Orleans Monday night to discharge cargo into a Maory bound hold.
