Children’s Dancing Contest winners at Columbia Theatre

Despite bad weather a large audience enjoyed the Children’s Dancing Contest after the first show of The Funmakers at Columbia Theatre. Josie Calloway and Percy Donohue won first prize. Estelle Pinto and Frank Bolling second. Emily Murray third. The event will run on Fridays. Beginning Monday matinee Dave Newman’s musical comedy company opens a week at the Columbia with Carrie Hawley in A Trip to Paris. Also today Chaplin in Caught in a Cabaret and other cartoons headline a five reel program with 5 cent admission.
