PIP OIL BARGE COMPLETED AND SHIP REPAIR PLANS ANNOUNCED
William M. Evans of Gulf City Boiler Works announced the completion of an oil barge made from half the hull of the transfer boat B F Winchell. The oil tanker San Cristobal will repair here at a cost near three hundred thousand dollars and arrive the twentieth of the month under its own steam. The Orion tug is en route for overhaul, and repairs were secured over other Gulf ports, Mobile winning the bid.
