Sister Ships and Civic Notes in Mobile
A long period piece blends a Civil War themed poem by Zulma D Amour with the Mobile Federation of Women’s Clubs 1916 committee appointments. The verse laments Confederate symbols and glory, then lists formal club committees spanning arts civics and education with member names and roles. The closing lines offer counsel on youth social life and propriety.
