Returning from a fire Sunday afternoon Fire Truck No 11 in Oakdale passed the Royal Detention Home on Charles Street when a horse attached to the apparatus dropped dead from heart disease. The animal valued at 225 dollars. The fire caused five dollars damage to a roof on Elmira Street near George.
