Not a dollar was contributed to the city treasury by the police court route for drunkenness from Wednesday's session. The heaviest fine was five dollars on a colored chauffeur named Will Washington who drove Dr Schwarz’s auto and caused a collision. Washington claimed poor visibility in the rain. E. V. Harkness was fined two dollars for leaving his auto in a restricted street. D. M. Ward paid two dollars for ordinance violations.
