Lumber Exports From Mobile To Buenos Ayres Surge

The British steamship Melanie Groedel carried 2,381,132 feet of yellow pine and pitch pine, while the Norwegian Fram held 1,914,427 feet. The Fram’s voyage began with machinery trouble and a delay for repairs after sinking the schooner James Pierce risked further setbacks.
