Highwaymen Murder White Carpenter in Mobile City Center
J A Villar a 28 year old shipper and Pensacola resident was shot on Joachim street opposite the Wis Club in Mobile 11 10 PM Saturday by two masked highwaymen. Two suspects Ben Thompson and E Gaines Moore were arrested near Cedar and St Louis streets based on witness descriptions. A pair of automobile goggles found on one suspect aided police in identifying the assailants. Villar died shortly after arrival at the city hospital.

President Wilson and his family will depart Washington Tuesday night for Pass Christian Mississippi to spend about three weeks if currency developments allow.
