WM. Kling alleges he interferes with work and swears to a complaint under the Boycott section of the Criminal Code. The report notes Marler was fined 00 and named in two warrants as part of the case details.
Warrant issued Friday for Joe Joe Mahler with William Kling of Home Industry Iron Works as complainant under Alabama Section 6856. Law targets forcing peaceable workers or suppliers to stop lawful industry. Conviction carries 10 to 500 dollars fine and possible up to twelve months in county jail.
In Mobile the inferior criminal court swore two warrants against Joseph Mahler on Friday morning. One from Philip Sheck charging uttering threats. The other from William Kling alleging interference with workers at Home Industry Iron Works under the boycott law. Mahler was fined $50 or ninety days for disorderly conduct after not testifying. Agnew, Kling, and Sheck testified for the city.
General Ignacio Andrada former president of Venezuela and new minister to Ecuador Peru and Bolivia arrived in New York from Caracas and said Castro is not leading a Venezuelan revolution. A fifteen minute interview with President Wilson convinced him to attend Mobile in October if Congress does not intervene. The delegation delivered formal invitations to key officials and left follow up invites at cabinet offices. Senator Johnston was ill and died Friday morning, delaying some plans.
