Miss April 17 A large development bill funds Deer Island resort near Biloxi with 216 acres bought for 2100 and already spent around 5000 to 30000. A north side landing pier by Biloxi contractors was finished and plans for a large bathing pavilion and dancing pavilion proceed. Camp Grounds near Biloxi host annual meetings and the divinity school from June to July with many visitors expected.

MANN-DAWES AUTO CAR SERVICE BEGINS TODAY
The Mobile and Ohio Railroad launches a new fifty horsepower gasoline passenger car on the Bay Shore division from Whistler to Dawes Alabama. Demonstrations show faster trips and improved service, with plans to extend toward Dickens Ferry Road and add a three and a half mile citrus area link. The car seats forty, features air brakes and steam heating in winter, and will run between Mann and Dawes twice daily with a dedicated negro car area.
