Children Enjoy Landmark Lincoln Park Play Day
Amusement of all kinds drew about fifteen hundred children to Lincoln Park for a final play day. Park superintendent Addison Bain organized a large tent dubbed The Child's Hospital and beds filled with sleepy tots. A busy day featured merry-go-rounds, a sand pit, a doll show, and safe outdoor fun with no accidents. Next year two monthly play days are planned to accommodate more children.

Schools face delays as five school escapes incomplete
The Cleveland firm Anchor Fones and Manufacturing, under a $1000 bond, delays the construction of five escapes for local school buildings. Officials oppose Sunday work to finish the project before school opens, risking dirty rooms and unsafe conditions. If delays continue, the board may extend deadlines or charge the contractor.
