Victory for Democracy in Perkins Vote Shock County Ticket
Voters in Perkins repudiated the Republican county ticket and Burke and Rice on the Congressional ticket. The decisive defeats reflect a broad demand for change as incumbents warned by the people were dismissed. Bonds were defeated and Equal Suffrage carried, with district races showing mixed results among Democratic and Republican candidates.

North Dakota voters favored the Republican slate with A. J. Grenna defeating W. E. Purcell for U.S. Senate and P. D. Norton beating H. L. Halvorson for the 3rd district Congress.
