Makes Good in Lemmon Territory
Louis Sundemeyer narrates his hardships and success in Lemmon area from 1906 onward. He describes homesteading in Morton County North Dakota, losing crops and livestock, rebuilding with sheep and cattle, purchasing 320 acres, paying off the homestead mortgage, and expanding to alfalfa and stock raising. He praises the region’s opportunity and notes rising land values and a new Overland car.
