Two Local High Schools To Hold Combined Graduation
Forty-one LJC sophomores will receive diplomas May 27 at Memorial Stadium at 8:00 p.m. The ceremony joins with Robert E. Lee High School for a 310-student graduation. Rabbi Robert Kahn will deliver the baccalaureate. George Gentry will present diplomas. the R. E. Lee band and choir will perform. honors and scholarships will be announced.

Spring Concert by LJC Choir Proves Success
The LJC Choir directed by Mrs. Gladys Ellis capped the year's activities with a spring concert featuring classical semi classical and folk works. Soloists included Clifflene Powell Kent Rogan Angie Lee Cathriner and Joe Don Dollar with Annette Costley on chimes. The program listed many titles from Bach to Wagner and folk songs like Clementine and A Gypsy Air.
