Western Week Opens With Parade and Rodeo Action
Lee College hosts Western Week with a city youth fair, a parade at 4 30 p.m. and an NIR A rodeo Friday and Saturday. Thirty teams from 15 colleges compete for team trophies and buckles with notable competitors from Sam Houston Southwest Texas and A&M. Carolyn Seay may appear as 1966 Miss Rodeo America.

1967 Lee Log Edition Set for May 2 Delivery
The 1967 Lee Log yearbook will be delivered on or about May 2, editor Sandra Durst announced. The edition features more color and a mandrian layout, a new concept in yearbook design. A pickup and celebration will follow arrival in the Student Union, with a list of purchasers posted outside.

The Lee College Student Council was elected President of the Texas Junior College Student Council Association at a convention held at San Jacinto Junior College in Pasadena Texas. Delegates from Lee College included Debbie Adams La Jan McAlister and others. The group approved a $500 Student Activity Fund loan program for clubs in need with repayment conditions. Field Day reported four boys teams four girls teams and one independent team. A May 2 banquet at Sunny Look's Sirloin Inn in Houston was planned.
