Board to Offer Scholarships for Music Majors
The Board of Regents approved ten music grants in aid starting next year. Each grant covers tuition and applied music fees for four semesters. Ten more grants will be added next year, totaling 20 annually after fall 1968, in piano voice and band instruments. An instrument music instructor will join staff to help music majors complete two years toward a degree with a concentration in voice piano or instrumental music.

Miss Wool of Texas Contest Opens For 1967-68
The search for Miss Wool of Texas 1967-68 begins with a Dallas pageant set for May 29. Sponsored by the Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers Association, the program started in 1952 and inspired Miss Wool of America. New Business Manager Named at Lee College
John R. Pechacek a Houston CPA and Texas A&M graduate will become Lee College business manager July 1 1967 replacing the public school district office. He was self employed before the appointment and comes on the recommendation of Comptroller Alvin Miles and LC President Dr Strahan. Pechacek will be paid 10500 dollars annually.

Co op delegates met at Char lotte Solis home with Gamma Phi Kappa serving punch and cookies. Leroy Kroleyzk announced the college choir will sing March 19 at Memorial Baptist Church and begin work on a musical. Western Week runs April 17–21 with events including a basketball game barbecue on April 17 and a dance on April 18. Beard contest prizes include cow boy boots.
