Annuals Arrive Early for Lee Log Subscribers

Subscribers to the Lee Log will receive the annual earlier than usual with shipments set for March. Distribu­tion to students is planned for March 10 and 11, in Office A by Miss Meeks, with specific pickup hours and a sign for receipt required.

LC Students Ride In Parade at Shrine Event

Lee College represented in the Shrine Parade on February 20 with a decorated float and six cars. The float depicted a Southern Confederate scene with white columns and lavender decorations. Riders included Shirley Hering, Ellen Waltman, Jane Davis, and Faustine Hobbs in formal dresses, each with a ruffled umbrella.

Counselors Announced at Lee College for This Semester

Carl Green, head of Lee College counseling and testing services, has assigned counselors for the current term. Students may meet their counselor to review standardized test results and interpretation, along with other academic or personal matters.

Teacher to Wed Carl Green in Texas City Ceremony

Miss Marie Hokan, daughter of Mrs Anton Hokanson of Texas City, will marry Carl Green, a Lee College education and psychology teacher and son of W. L. Green of Kinmundy Illinois. The wedding is planned for 5 pm at St George's Episcopal Church in Texas City Texas.

Deer Park Club To Be Scene of Confederate Ball

The Diamond Alkali Club House in Deer Park will host the Lee College Confederate Ball on April 10. Mickey Pillow schedules an orchestra with the Baytonians likely to perform, though final plans are unfinished. The annual event shapes college social life with secret coronation of royalty and nominations finalized shortly before.
