Lee College announced approval of $15,611 in federal work study funds for the Jan 1 to June 30, 1967 period. The grant funds 42 student jobs, 40 on campus, including clerical, lab, and parking attendants, at 15 hours weekly and $1.25 per hour.

Lee College Music Program Showcases American Composers
The Lee College Music Department presents an American music program for the Federation Music Club at 7 30 p m February 2 in the LC auditorium. Tom Stone will lead piano students in five solos and two duos by Sarah Kirkman and Susan Arvin. Charles Stephenson directs the choir with student solos. The program lasts about ninety minutes and is open to the public at no charge.

A new short order line opens in the cafeteria offering burgers and sandwiches. A burger basket with fries costs 45 cents, hot dogs and chili dogs are sold, and a plate with meat vegetables and coffee or tea costs 50 cents. The Red Crayolas, a new rock group featuring Mayo 22 lead guitar Steve 18 bass and Rick 23 drums, rapidly gain attention.
