Lee College Urges Registration Permits for Spring Term
New permits for spring term registration at Lee College are available in the registrar's office. Registration is set for January 23 and 24 with classes beginning January 25. All students must have a permit, then obtain tentative schedules approved by a counselor or division chair. The registrar’s and counseling-testing offices are open 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

A new scholastic honor for the top academic male student is established in honor of Walter Rundell retired Lee College dean. A plaque and recipient names will hang in the Student Union. Rundell’s retirement begins Feb 1 with vacation time effective Jan 6.

New Cooks' Class Underway at Lee College Campus
The Manpower Development Act resumes at Lee College campus after a one semester gap. A single 20 student class in hotel and restaurant cook’s training runs Jan 3 to June 25. Eight hours daily with three hours lecture and five hours lab supervised by Mrs. Lucile Dill and Mr. Jennie Richards. The cafe operation will largely continue as before. Courses are based on needs defined by the Texas Employment Commission.

GED Test Schedule At Lee College
The General Education Development Test for high school certification will be given next week at Lee College. The test times are 6 p.m. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in the counseling testing office. Call 583 7368 for information.

The Goose Creek area junior college district becomes Lee College District by board action. Dead Week Rules Tighten Ahead of Final Exams
Extracurricular activities halted during Dead Week to devote time to study. Final exams run Monday January 16 through Thursday January 19 with grades mailed the following week. Spring term registration occurs January 23 and 24. preregistrants must pay by January 19.
