PTK Dinner Convention Initiates New Phi Theta Kappa Members
The Lee College Zeta Nu Chapter held an initiation banquet at Newby's Restaurant in Bay Plaza. New members listed include Barry D Bailey Terry Bland Bethany Bletsch Carolyn Burns Robert Comeaux Gail Cooper Ronald Endel and many others. President Susan Palmer spoke on PTK aims. The national PTK convention met at the Rice Hotel Houston with speakers including How ard Pollock Alfred Merrill Worden Debbie Bryant Wilson and Dr Harry Ransom. Delegates toured the Astrodome Ship Channel and Manned Spacecraft Center and visited San Jacinto College for a barbecue.

Future Leaders of Student Government Apply for Office
Students planning to run for President Vice-President or Secretary Treasurer must pick up applications from the Dean of Student Life after April 29. Applications signed by 25 students are due to Mr Alton Laird by 4 p.m. on May 3. A forum sponsored by the Student Government will be held during lunch breaks on May 8 and 9 in the courtyard between the LA building and Rundell Hall. The SG election takes place on May 9 and 10.
