The nineteenth edition of Summer Study Abroad from the Institute of International Education lists over 200 courses in 30 countries with emphasis in Europe. Programs span Mexico Peru Israel Turkey and Japan and include sections on archaeology architecture law music and teen programs. Harris County Democrats Meet Endorses Yarborough for Texas Delegation
Lee College Young Democrats and faculty attended the Harris County Democrats meeting at the University of Houston on April 11. The group endorsed Senator Ralph Yarborough as leader of the Texas delegation to the Democratic national convention and urged a statewide draft uncommitted to any candidate, not bound by the unit rule, amid debate over Kennedy McCarthy and Humphrey supporters.

Students to Voice Preference For President April 24
Lee College will participate in Choice 68 the National Collegiate Presidential Primary on Wednesday April 24. About 1 000 colleges with enrollments over five million students representing 75 percent of the total student electorate have decided to participate. Sen Eugene McCarthy and Sen Robert Kennedy showed strong college support with the combined vote surpassing President Johnson at Texas Law School and the University of Alfred. Rockefeller maintains strong backing though not seeking the Republican nomination. Polls will be set up in Lee College halls next Wednesday. All students are urged to participate.

International Students Conference Held in Austin
The International Club of the University of Texas at Austin hosted its first International Students Conference in March 1968. Delegates from 47 universities across 46 countries were selected for leadership and academic merit, with about 60 percent seniors or graduate students. The two day event centered on development gaps with discussions led by faculty and students and featured five noted speakers from the United Nations, World Bank, University of Chicago, Harvard, and UT.
