Lee College to Become Vocational Training Center

College Bottle Club Closed Out In Night Raid

Baytown police shut down the Lee College Bottle Club after a raid last Monday night. The operation served as a front for illegal liquor sales with a staff including a registrar acting as bouncer and bar maids. Dean Rundell defended the venture as meeting student needs, but police claim it was bold and unpayable by March 27.

Package Store to Open in New College Building

After liquor distribution ends at Lee College, Dr Henry Bergolofsky receives permission to run a bottle store in the central area of the new campus building. Alvin Miles also plans to lease the south wing to Coach Alton Laird, who will run a pool program with Bennie Moskowitz. The building will be dubbed Al's and Doc's Pool and Package Palace with a free opening event offering pool, a Schlitz can, and access for students with activity cards.
