Lynch's Wild at Heart rides wild cinema wave
The critique notes David Lynch writes directs Wild At Heart starring Nicolas Cage as Sailor Ripley and Laura Dern as Lula. They flee through the South meeting odd characters like Willem Dafoe and Isabella Rossellini while Lynch blends violent comedy with odd romance in a film praised for Cage and Dern performances. The review cites a limited audience appeal and a 127 minute runtime distributed by The Samuel Goldwyn Company showing in area theaters.
