Gatemouth Brown Performs Jazzy Blues at Baytown Club
Baytown's Golden Nugget Saloon hosted Gatemouth Brown and the Express on September 4 with a set blending jazz big band echoes and blues. The group featured Culley Keller Ellsensohen Johnson Ross with Brown on fiddle delivering a crowd-pleasing "Gate's Tune" before stomping through country-tinged rhythms. Brown discussed his origins from Orange Texas and his view of music as a pure, evolving art form.
