Lee College girls volleyball rise in conference standings
LC coach Elaine Fergerson leads a young squad into October action with three wins in four conference games. Freshmen include Tammy Moss Debbie Thaler Peggy Kaplan and others while returning sophomore Sylvia Triston provides experience. The team competes in a seven-school conference with prior seasons noting nationals qualification in 1978 and a third-place finish in 1979 playoffs.
