Lee College Fine Arts Department presents Woody Allen comedy Play It Again Sam in three acts on November 30 and December 1. Allan Felix dreams about ideal women with Bogart guidance, then learns to live sincerely. Cast includes Byron Grandy as Allan Felix Kitty Keene Nancy Steve Stafford Bogart. understudies named. Performance at 8 p.m. in Lab Theater with free student admission or 2.50 general.
Reggie Brewer a 39 year old Baytown businessman and president of Texas G and B was appointed to the Lee College Board of Regents in an Oct 25 executive session. He attended LC UH and Southern Methodist University and will serve until the next regular district election in April.
Lee College will show Viva Zapata as part of fall film series in Rundell Hall main auditorium. John Britt and Dale Adams will introduce the film and discuss Zapata versus Steinbeck and protest themes against McCarthyism.
Lee College cosmetology program enrollment is full for December due to high demand. Since 1973 the one-year, full-time course trains 26 students to 1500 hours for licensing, with job prospects strong and some graduates already hired. The department serves the public Tue-Fri 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at 427-5611 ext 359.
