Regents debate salary study at Lee College agenda

Cram night goes on without faculty support

Lee College Board hikes tax rate to 15.827 cents

The Lee College Board of Regents set the 1989-90 tax rate at 15.827 cents per $100 assessed value, 1.33 cents above the 1989 effective rate of 14.695. The higher rate funds maintenance and operations, while the bond indebtedness from a May 1988 bond sale for library renovation, science healthcare facility construction, and HVAC upgrades remains separate.

DNA pioneer to speak at TUEBS meeting here

Dr. David Nelson a pioneer in DNA fingerprinting will speak at the 23rd Texas Undergraduate Education for the Biological Sciences convention hosted by Lee College Region 6 attendees include faculty from Gulf Coast colleges and universities.
