Lee College intramural wrist wrestling crowns four divisions
The October 14 campus event drew 20 competitors with John Zink and Jim Dippel each claiming two titles across featherweight lightweight and heavyweight divisions. Women’s winner Helen Alford topped Audrey Mae Gold, while Sc ballad events included tennis doubles wins for Gray, Do, Pyle, Kane and others.

ADN Nursing Students Host Free Blood Pressure Screenings
ADN nursing students at Lee College, with American Red Cross and Sterling library, offer free blood pressure checks at Sterling Municipal Library on the last Tuesday of each month from 3 to 7 p.m. The program provides community service and practical experience. A Red Cross nurse joins the event. Mary Thiel, ADN director, says more program details are available by calling the LC nursing office.
