Past meets present at Peake Print Shop Gutenberg Press demo
Graphic Arts students under instructor David Bauerlein used the Gutenberg Press at the Texas Renaissance Festival for two days dressing as 15th century printers. They pushed and pulled the wooden and steel press without electricity to learn how the Gutenberg Bible was created, while displays featured early colonial and Texas printed materials.
