Lee College Student Congress officers and members attended the Texas State Students Association convention in Kingsville October 15 to 18. They backed a performance based allocation resolution to raise state funding to 100 percent of formula funds, and held informal Tuesday and regular Friday meetings to discuss campus issues.

Baytown Parks and Recreation invites festive entries for the December 3 parade at 6 30 pm with plaques for first place and ribbons for second and third in categories including public floats commercial floats cars pickups and motorcycles. Blood drive goal raised to 350 units at Lee College

Lee College reports 23 percent completion of a federal funded energy conservation project. The plan uses thermal energy storage to ice water during off peak hours for daytime cooling, cutting energy usage and costs. Haunted house doubles '91 profits at Lee College
Curtis Rene, student congress president, announced the third annual haunted house exceeded 1991 profits by 1,157 dollars. With 20 plus volunteers and a committee led by Raymond Blanchard, the event raised funds for the Charles Scott Scholarship and the LC Theatre Arts Scholarship Fund, built in one night inside the gym despite hot conditions.
