Two Lee College students die in separate incidents
Two Lee College students died in unrelated incidents Sunday and Monday. David Robbins of Dayton was killed early Monday in a traffic accident outside his hometown. Kelly Bell, 19, of Baytown, died at home Sunday night. Bell had been a former student assistant in the Social and Behavioral Science Department. See related stories, Page 4.

Library staff seeks input on new facilities
Dolores Owens at Lee College invites students and faculty to submit library improvement ideas as reconstruction begins end of spring 1990. A suggestion box will collect proposals for padding, quiet study areas, and better appearance. Library will use a temporary site in Moser Hall with closed stacks and staff retrieval during renovations.

Two candidates filed for the Regent elections in the Lee College district as of March. Charles Huggins, 37, has lived in the district 14 years and works in the chemical industry at Rhone Poulenc. Don Coffey, 37, incumbent, filed March 2 and serves as a legislative assistant to state Sen. Gene Green. Coffey cites continuity on the board and the need to improve college facilities.

The session targets students not eligible for need based aid and explores home equity loans savings use credit cards and other financing options for pursuing a four year education beyond Lee College.
