Miss Baytown-LC Pageant to Be Held in RSS Auditorium

The sixth annual Miss Baytown Lee College pageant is set for March 29 at 7 30 p m in the Ross S Sterling auditorium. Winners receive at least 1000 in scholarships and a scepter and will represent Baytown at the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant in Fort Worth this summer. Contestants must be single high school graduates 17 to 26 and of good character with talent poise intelligence charm and beauty. Open to Baytown school district residents or LC students. Tickets 575 reserved 275 general.

Moler Hall expansion and new tennis courts planned

Lee College outlines construction of three new concrete illuminated tennis courts near existing facilities to increase class capacity. Existing courts will receive new lighting. completion targeted for month's end with Moler Hall expansion by October adding 5640 square feet and a sick room in Student Health Services. Total project costs: 118475 for courts and lighting, 348740 for expansion.
