Charles Rosser reports a student survey at Baytown campus showing 8 percent response from 330 released 16 questions. If approved by administration, library hours could extend from 9 30 p m to 10 p m Monday through Thursday to assist students with late classes.
Christine Gilbert reports Lee College Student Activity Committee will restrict dances to LC students only. Despite prior measures high school students entered the Nov 18 dance. new policy enforces college IDs and door monitors with signs posted in Moser Hall to prevent high school attendance.
Students and faculty donated 268 pints during the November LC blood drive run with Blood Centers of Houston. Three donors won prizes in a drawing. Jerry Littlejohn earned a ski trip to Steamboat Springs Colorado, Paula Kiber won dinner for two, and Vince Mercaldo won a sailing trip aboard a donated sailboat by Lorena Maker. The college added an extra Thanksgiving holiday to recognize participation. 340 offered to donate, 268 collected, with some deferrals for health reasons.
