LC Continuing Education Offers Self Defense Courses
Two self defense courses begin April 21 and run through May 14 in the LC dance room. One class targets high school students Tuesdays and Thursdays 4 to 5 pm, the other for adults 7 to 8 pm. Instructor John Grant from Highlands teaches Praying Mantis Kung Fu. Fees are 14 dollars payable at Rundell Hall.

Pam Epperson wins Miss Baytown Lee College pageant
Baytown sophomore Pam Epperson won the Miss Baytown Lee College Scholarship pageant earning a $1,000 prize. She plans to attend Sam Houston State University in the fall majoring in elementary education and will compete in Miss Texas in Fort Worth July 4 to 12.

Butterflies Are Free at LC May Drama Offering
The Lee College Drama Department presents Butterflies Are Free by Leonard Gershe on May 1, 2, 8, and 9 at 8 p.m. in the Laboratory Theatre Fine Arts Building. Cast includes Scott Miller Don Baker Marynell Madden Jill Tanner Camilla Comanich Mrs Baker and Charlie Pierce Ralph Austin with John Cotton as stage manager. Admission is 3 dollars or free with LC ID.
