Train Dashes Through A Crowd In Detroit Fatalities And Injuries
A Grand Track Pan-American flyer from Chicago ran into a crowd of about a thousand at Dequinder and Canfield streets at 8 30 pm killing 10 to 15 and injuring about 30. Most victims were from Toledo as 1500 Poles from Toledo had gathered for a holiday. Police and ambulances rushed to the scene.

In Vicksburg Mississippi on May 3 Bobh Bryant and Will Morris were taken to the Yazoo bridge at Haynes Bluff before dawn. Bryant confessed Friday night implicating Morris in the fatal shooting of W H Legg. The piece notes Russia’s denial of motives and withdrawal of sensational dispatches about Manchuria.
