Cheraw July 19 A dreadful accident in Marlboro county five miles from Cheraw killed J. H. Bennett, a farmer and sawmill owner. Returning from breakfast he started the boiler water, causing a catastrophic explosion that wrecked the engine house and fatally injured him while severely wounding the fireman.
