Pursuit of Eli Rogers Captured in Union County
Eli Rogers the insane killer of Miss Nancy Pressley and a boy named Will Richard was pursued yesterday by over 50 men led by Col. W. W. Phifer in Union County. Authorities fear his heavy armament and erratic threat to kill at least six before capture. Witnesses place him in a thick woods near Steut as bloodhounds were arranged.
