In Monticello New York on February 8 Mrs. Lafayette Taylor of Centerville Sullivan County confessed to killing her husband Lafayette Taylor on January 25 or 26 after a drunken quarrel. The daughter testified to the shooting and both women faced arrest, with the mother taken to Monticello jail and the daughter not yet arrested.
